Mapenzi has a master's in public health (MScPH), Bachelor in Community Development, Specialist in Project and Health Systems Management, and Expert Consultant in Project, Health, and Environmental Management.  A professional specialized in public health, community development, and management of projects and health systems, with experience in planning, implementation, monitoring, and supporting development projects. Also includes skills in environmental and social safeguarding, community-based environmental management, community conflict management, peacebuilding, capacity building, and coaching local stakeholders. With more than 10 years' experience working with NGOs, international organizations, public institutions, and entities involved in the implementation of development projects, particularly in the South Kivu and North Kivu provinces of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Now is currently Program Manager in KCCA/ ACCK organization.
