
Pre-selection criteria

NGO/ Non-Profit (ASBL)
-
Be legally established as a Non-Governmental Organization in accordance with the provisions of law on general provisions applicable to non-profit associations and public utility establishments.

Justify at least 5 years of experience in areas related to victim support, the fight against sexual violence in conflict zones, assistance in access to justice for victims, socio-economic reintegration of victims, reconciliation of communities in conflict, conflict transformation, reparation of victims.​​

Justify at least 3 years of experience in the targeted communities, with the implementation of community projects with the financial support of national or international donors;

Have sufficient operational resources (Offices in the provinces, Qualified personnel, Equipment, etc.);
-
Have a governance body, internal control mechanisms, monitoring and evaluation that have been effectively operational and effective for at least 3 years;
-
Have at least 40% women in the composition of the board of directors or governance body and at least 10% of victims (Criterion applicable to victim support associations);

Have clear and documented policies and procedures for project and programme management;
-
Have evidence of good execution of projects similar to those of KCCA/ACCK with the participation of national or international organizations;

Present significant and verifiable operational results in the field of victim care or support;

Have control bodies (Internal Audit, Supervisory Committee, Auditors, etc.);

Comply with legal and regulatory requirements, particularly in terms of taxation;

Gain a good reputation with victims and host communities

Benefit from a good reputation with national and international donors;

For Victims Associations Group
-
Be established as a non-profit association bringing together victims of conflict-related sexual violence and victims of crimes against the peace and security of humanity;
-
Have an effective and operational governance body and internal control and monitoring and evaluation mechanisms;
-
Have the statutes or other official document notarized by the administrative authority recognizing the organization as an association of victims;
-
Provide the complete list of victims who are members of the association;
