Abeid Hussein serves as the General Secretary for KCCA a non-profit organization. His focus is on research and technical development to promote the organization. He is involved in  organizational strategy, planning and performance, leads the Office of the President and internal communications, manages the Board of Directors, and liaises with the international KCCA leadership. Abeid has recently took on the role of researching to create strategic partnerships to increase organizational capacity and also on raising funds through grant writing. He uses his technical expertise to promote KCCA through social media and online marketing. Abeid is passionate and cares about KCCA and its mission. His passion stems from his connection with the Congolese community as he is an immigrant from the D.R.C. Serving the community is important to him as he likes to volunteer to help those in need. Abeid has over 5 years' experience in research, web-design. He has obtained a bachelor's degree in economics. Now is currently living in Lexington, KY with his family.
